Erin Baker

As an accomplished and versatile harpist, Erin offers services playing for weddings, special events, orchestra, chamber music, and other live-events throughout the Baltimore/DC Metro region.

Erin focused on her orchestral skills during two years as Principal Harpist in Maestra Marin Alsop's select training conductor’s orchestra, while concurrently filling the same position in regular rotations with Peabody's several orchestras playing under the baton of Leonard Slatkin, Marin Alsop, and Leon Fleisher amongst others.

She enjoys music of all periods and genres. In 2019 she was a chosen presenter for the USA International Harp Ruth Inglefield Composition Contest Forum, where she performed the finalist piece “Cogitation” by composer/harpist Natalie Wong. She also enjoys performing and arranging pop music covers by artists such as Lake Street Dive, Ed Sheeran, Adele, and Beyoncé.

In addition to her busy performance schedule, Erin is on the faculties of the Baltimore School for the Arts TWIGS preparatory program and the Baltimore Symphony Orchkids.
